Job Responsibilities
1. Monitor the movement of tank containers operated by the company at various ports (including company-leased, agency, and customer-held tank containers) and their status within the yard.
2. Implement the company’s circulation strategy for company-owned containers; allocate tank containers for overseas operations.
3. Assist the sales team in resolving technical issues encountered during the quotation process.
4. Resolve technical and safety issues arising from equipment use; coordinate with relevant parties to handle emergencies.
5. Determine and collect tank container rates.
6. Process the lease commencement and return of leased equipment.
7. Purchase insurance for the company’s owned tank containers and handle claims.
8. Arrange the transport of empty tank containers, and handle quote sourcing, reconciliation, bookkeeping, and reimbursement for transport fees.
9. Source quotes for cleaning fees and maintain relevant records.
10. Estimate costs for equipment maintenance, inspections, and repairs; request quotes, record, reconcile, book, and submit reimbursement requests for the transport of stored empty tank containers.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics, Maritime Studies, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the logistics/shipping industry, including at least 3 years of experience in ISO Tank or container management. Familiarity with chemical/dangerous goods logistics operations and SHEQ standards is highly preferred.
3. Proficient in container dynamic tracking, regional empty container repositioning, and daily cost accounting.
4. Solid understanding of container technical knowledge (e.g., repair standards, cargo suitability assessment).
5. Excellent English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, with the ability to use English as a working language for daily business communication with overseas agents and teams.
6. Strong ability to work under pressure, excellent cross-cultural collaboration skills, and effective crisis management capabilities.
